Mug Smashers

Mug Smashers is a 2D side-scrolling beat ’em up game set in San Francisco. The story follows Axel and his best friend Miles as they embark on a mission to rescue Axel’s sister, Officer Sheila, who has been kidnapped by the drug and arms dealer Mad Dog. The game features typical beat ’em up gameplay with punch, jump, and kick buttons, allowing players to fight through various stages and encounter different thugs and bosses. Players can also pick up and use weapons like pipes, knives, and guns, as well as throw objects at enemies. A notable feature is the “Hurricane” special move, performed by pressing jump and kick simultaneously, which causes the character to spin across the screen. The game includes a map of San Francisco at the start of each stage to show player progress.
