The Punisher is a side-scrolling beat ’em up arcade game released by Capcom in 1993. The story follows Marvel Comics anti-hero Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher and co-stars S.H.I.E.L.D, as he wages a brutal one-man war against organized crime after the murder of his family. Teaming up with Nick Fury, he battles through gangs, mercenaries, and powerful crime bosses to stop the Kingpin’s criminal empire.
