Shadow Force

Shadow Force is a side-scrolling beat ’em up where one or two players select from four distinct heroes—Kai, Blunet, Tengu, or Coyote—to combat the evil Dr. Wong and his “Theaser” organization in a sci-fi, ninja-themed setting. The game features a six-button control scheme, allowing for high and low punches and kicks, jumping, and a unique enemy possession mechanic. Players can execute various attack moves by combining joystick movements with punch and kick buttons, and also perform combos. A notable feature is the ability to temporarily possess certain enemies, utilizing their unique moves, although possessed enemies generally have a more limited moveset than the main characters. Additionally, at the end of each stage, players engage in a one-on-one bonus fight.
