Papa Louie

Papa Louie: When Pizzas Attack! is an adventure platformer where players control the titular chef, Papa Louie. The story begins during a pizza party at Papa’s Pizzeria, when the Infamous Onion Ring transforms delicious pizzas into monstrous Pizza Monsters. These monsters then kidnap all of Papa Louie’s customers, teleporting them to distant lands. Papa Louie, armed with his pizza paddle and pepper bombs, must embark on a quest to rescue his loyal customers and defeat the Infamous Onion Ring.

In a round of Papa Louie: When Pizzas Attack!, players navigate through various food-themed worlds, which are filled with obstacles and enemies. The goal is to rescue the kidnapped customers. Levels feature platforming challenges, where players run, jump, and attack food-themed enemies like pizza monsters. As players progress through the game, levels become more difficult, introducing new puzzles and enemy types.

The game focuses on a single-player experience, with Papa Louie as the initial playable character. While the first game primarily features Papa Louie, later adventure games in the series introduce additional playable characters, each with unique abilities and weapons. Players can collect coins and keys throughout levels, which can be used to unlock new characters or purchase new outfits and weapons for their character. The game also includes a high score board.
