A round of Papa’s Pizzeria involves managing four key stations: the Order Station, Topping Station, Baking Station, and Cutting Station. At the Order Station, players take customer orders, noting their specific requests for toppings, cooking time, and how the pizza should be sliced. The Topping Station requires players to accurately place ingredients on the pizza according to the customer’s order. Next, at the Baking Station, pizzas are cooked to the desired doneness. Finally, at the Cutting Station, pizzas are sliced precisely as the customer requested before being served. The goal is to satisfy customers to earn money, unlock new levels, improve scores, and achieve faster completion times. As the game progresses, more customers arrive, and their orders become more complex, increasing the challenge.

The game features various unlockables and upgrades. Players can earn tips and points, which contribute to unlocking new ingredients, including standard crusts, sauces, cheeses, meat, and veggie toppings. Special recipes can also be unlocked by serving customers with golden envelopes and mastering them by earning five stars. Upgrades for the different stations, such as a cutting guide, can be purchased to improve efficiency and scores.
