Bang! is a shooting gallery game with an Old West theme played with a light gun, for one or two players working together. The game offers three courses based on the difficulty levels: Beginner (16 stages), Advanced (20 stages) and Expert (24 stages). Each route consists of several mini-games selected randomly through a slot machine mechanic. A mini-game generally only lasts about ten seconds and they each have different goals. Sometimes only a single bullet is provided while others offer an endless amount. Before the start of each mini-game the gameplay is explained briefly along with the goals. Three lives are provided, represented by hearts, and when the goal is not met a life is lost. At the end of the game the results is shown, often based on the number of hits and accuracy, along with a total score.
