Backgammon: Online Duel

Backgammon: Online Duel is a classic strategy board game where your goal is to move all 15 checkers into your home board and then bear them off before your opponent. Roll the dice, choose your moves carefully, block key points, and look for chances to hit exposed enemy checkers. Every match combines planning, probability, and tactical decisions, so even a small advantage can change the outcome.

You can play online in real time by creating a game and sharing the room code with a friend. The server rolls the dice for both players, and each turn has a 60-second limit to keep matches moving. Strong victories are worth more, with a gammon counting double and a backgammon counting triple when the required conditions are met.

How to Play

Roll the dice and move one checker for each die. Select a checker, then choose one of the highlighted legal points. Doubles are played four times, and if only one die can be used, you must play the higher one. You cannot land on a point occupied by two or more opposing checkers, but a single exposed checker can be hit and sent to the bar. Any checker on the bar must re-enter through the opponent’s home board before you make other moves. Once all 15 of your checkers reach your home board at the bottom right, begin bearing them off. The first player to remove every checker wins.
