The game is set in a cartoon kingdom of grass-topped stone blocks, tilting planks, and floating ledges. The story involves monsters invading the red ball kingdom and stealing its keys, which are a source of power. The main character is a round red ball with a face that expresses moods, blinking when idle and looking determined during challenges.

In each round, the player’s task is to collect all bonuses, typically yellow stars, on the playing field and reach the highest points on the map. Stone blocks can be moved to assist with navigation. The game features good physics, allowing for precise movements and jumps. As the player progresses through levels, more difficult obstacles appear, requiring careful calculation and timing. The game is designed to be challenging, with players needing to avoid spikes, gaps, and enemies by jumping on them from above. Reaching a red flag signifies the completion of a level.
