The game rewards skillful play; striking enemies multiple times without taking damage grants “Red Energy points,” providing an extra amount of energy. Combat often involves timing deflections to stun enemies, doubling subsequent damage.

The game offers a single-player experience with a focus on exploration and combat progression. Players can unlock new sword skills and magic, such as a quick heal ability, and equip amulets to enhance their attacks and magical powers. “Places of Peace” serve as save points where players can rest, equip amulets, and unlock new abilities.
