If you don't have company, enter single-player mode and choose a mod. For example, "Tournament." Then select the athletes and mode. For example, you can play 1v1, 2v2, or 1v2. Choose your option and press "Next." Move your athlete with the side cursors. To jump, press "Up." For attack, use "Z," "X." Try to intercept the ball and send it into the opponent's goal. Defend your goal from opponent attacks. Be careful not to score an own goal. Try to score more goals than your opponent within the match time (timer counts down at the bottom). For two-player games, choose the "2 players" mod. Here, play with a friend on one team against two opponents or arrange a duel.
