Angry Birds 1 (HTML5)

Angry Birds is a physics-based puzzle game where a flock of birds seeks to retrieve their stolen eggs from a group of green pigs. The game's premise involves using a slingshot to launch various birds at structures built by the pigs, with the goal of destroying the structures and defeating the pigs. This gameplay style is reminiscent of older genres where players would demolish castles with projectiles.

In each round, the objective is to eliminate all the pigs on the screen. Players launch birds from a slingshot, aiming to either hit the pigs directly or cause their protective structures to collapse. Levels feature structures made of different materials like wood, glass, and stone, which react realistically to impacts. As players progress, new types of birds are introduced, each with unique abilities that can be activated after launch. Levels become more challenging with varying pig sizes and some pigs wearing protective helmets or armor, requiring strategic use of the birds' abilities and careful aim.

The game is primarily a single-player experience, offering numerous levels that increase in difficulty. Players earn one to three stars on each level based on their score, which is determined by defeated pigs, structural damage, and unused birds. Hidden golden eggs can also be found in levels, unlocking bonus content. The HTML5 version of Angry Birds, released in beta, utilizes WebGL or Canvas and includes exclusive levels and "Chrome Bombs" when played on the Chrome browser.
