Nuclear Blaze

Nuclear Blaze is a 2D action-adventure platformer where players take on the role of a trained firefighter. The game's story begins with the firefighter being air-dropped into a burning region to investigate and search for survivors. This leads to the unexpected discovery of a secret military facility, Site 16, which is also engulfed in flames. The primary objective is to contain the fires within this mysterious facility, unravel its true story, and rescue any trapped kittens.

In Nuclear Blaze, gameplay revolves around controlling the spread of fire. Players use a fire hose to extinguish flames, which is their main tool. Levels progress as players navigate the burning facility, putting out fires, and solving environmental puzzles, such as activating sprinkler systems or turning valves, to clear areas. The game introduces new abilities and upgrades as players advance through the early levels, including the capacity to spray water upwards, downwards, and an evade maneuver.

The game offers several modes and accessibility options. Beyond the standard game mode, there is a "Kid Mode" specifically designed for younger players, featuring simplified controls, automated actions like jumping and aiming, infinite water, and an invincible character. Upon completing the main game, a "Hold My Beer" mode is unlocked, which reimagines the game world with new areas, items, and increased threats, requiring a more tactical approach. The game also includes various difficulty settings that can be adjusted to make the experience more accessible, such as unlimited armor, extra water, a powerful water hose, and control over fire spreading.
