Zombotron 2

Zombotron 2 is a side-scrolling action shooter game where players control a mercenary named Blaze, who crash-lands on the alien planet Zombotron, a world overrun by zombies, hostile robots, and various creatures. The game builds on its predecessor with enhanced gameplay and a more engaging storyline, as Blaze seeks to uncover the planet's mysteries and find a way to escape.

In each round, the player's goal is to navigate through multiple levels, defeat enemies, and complete missions to progress the story. Players must monitor health, ammunition, and accumulated money. The game features physics-based elements, allowing players to use the environment to their advantage, such as detonating explosive projectiles from a distance or crushing enemies with falling debris. Levels become increasingly challenging with new enemy types, including nasty spiders and toxic foes that inflict significant damage.

Zombotron 2 offers a variety of weapons, including assault rifles and melee options, with an updated user interface. Players can collect coins and gear, and use currency to upgrade weapons and equipment. The game features 16 distinct levels, with progression through them unlocking new stages. There are also hidden secret areas that often contain valuable rewards like better weapons and armor. The game is a single-player experience.

A notable aspect of Zombotron 2 is its emphasis on interactive environments and diverse ways to neutralize opponents, including hand-to-hand combat. The game also introduces new enemy types, such as spider creatures, and features a more intelligent AI for some enemies. The story is presented through cutscenes, which can be skipped.
