Break Beat is an Arkanoid-style HTML5 web browser game featuring fast-paced, colorful gameplay with a pixel art and neon aesthetic, accompanied by an electronic music soundtrack. The game's core mechanic involves controlling a paddle to hit a ball, which then flies through and destroys clusters of bricks. In each round, the objective is to destroy all bricks in the location to complete the level. As the ball hits bricks, it takes on the color of the last block touched. Similarly, the paddle changes color after contact with the ball. If the ball hits same-colored blocks, a proton will drop, which restores energy. Players must catch the ball with the paddle to prevent energy on the right scale from decreasing. If the energy scale empties, the player loses. Levels progress and become harder as new blocks appear.

The game features various power-ups to aid the player. Green bonus pills enlarge the paddle, blue ones provide a multi-ball, and red ones give a super-ball. When the red scale on the right fills up, players can activate a laser beam to destroy bricks. The game encourages observation and thoughtful movement to progress through interactive environmental challenges.
