Command and Conquer 1

Game Details

Command & Conquer (1995) is a real-time strategy (RTS) game developed by Westwood Studios and considered one of the titles that defined the genre. The game is set in an alternate near-future where a mysterious alien substance called Tiberium begins spreading across the Earth. Two global factions rise to battle for control: the Global Defense Initiative (GDI), a high-tech military force supported by the United Nations, and the Brotherhood of Nod, a secretive cult-like organization led by the charismatic Kane.

Players collect resources, build bases, and command armies in real time, balancing strategy, speed, and tactics. Missions include constructing facilities, gathering Tiberium, training units, and engaging in large-scale battles. The game also features full-motion video cutscenes that advance the storyline, a hallmark of the series.

With its innovative gameplay, iconic music, and intense faction rivalry, Command & Conquer became a classic and laid the foundation for one of the most influential RTS franchises in gaming history.
