Hyperplex 3D

Hyperplex 3D is an arcade puzzle game where players control a red ball that moves forward, consuming pieces of the game board. The game is a 3D remaster of the 1991 DOS classic, Supaplex. The main character is named Murphy, and the objective is to navigate through complex mazes.

In each of the 15 levels, the player's goal is to collect bonuses while avoiding other chaotic balls that activate when the player gets too close. Collecting bonuses increases the risk of these other balls activating even faster. Players must also find a way out of a tangled maze within a time limit. The mazes remain consistent on replays, allowing players to strategize and remember correct paths. The game features 111 playable levels, which include puzzles ranging from easy to difficult.

The game includes various interactive objects such as enemies, bombs that can be dropped, ports for traversal, and terminals that explode floppies. Some levels incorporate gravity, adding an extra layer of challenge. Yellow floppies introduce Sokoban-like puzzles. Hyperplex 3D offers a level editor for creating and sharing custom levels. Players can save their progress mid-level and utilize a slow-time mechanic to execute precise maneuvers. The game also allows players to skip up to three levels after completing their last one.
