To save Hugolina and the children from the evil witch Grizelda, you must help Hugo overcome many challenges. Now let’s go through the details of the different stages:
SNOWBOARD – Hugo in the snow
This stage takes place in winter. Hugo climbs a mountain when the wicked witch sets off a bomb at the top. Now you must help Hugo run quickly down the mountain to escape the avalanche, while avoiding giant snowballs. From time to time, snowmen will appear in your path, and you’ll have to fight them with snowballs. Occasionally, you’ll also need to choose whether to continue left or right. If you pick the slower path, the avalanche might catch up with you. Luckily, Hugo has a map and can peek at it to choose the better way. The paths marked in green are the faster ones.
NIMBUS – Hugo on the motorcycle
In this stage, Hugo rides a motorcycle around the mountain. He must reach the witch’s cave, but along the way, he’ll encounter goats, rocks, pits, and other dangers. You must help Hugo avoid all the hazards and also collect extra fuel cans along the road. It’s also recommended to check the map to make sure you’re on the right path.
DOLMEN CAVE – Hugo in the caves
In the DOLMEN CAVE stage, Hugo wanders through an underground maze of caves. The water level in the caves slowly rises as time goes by, so you must escape quickly. Hugo has a map of the underground maze, which includes elevators, climbing ropes, and many monsters.
BALLOON – Hugo in a hot-air balloon
In the BALLOON stage, Hugo flies through the skies between mountains and above deadly cliffs. Suddenly, your hot-air balloon starts losing air, and you need to move left and right to reach the bottom of the cave without getting hurt.
